| Courtney DeMicco Growing up near the Appalachian Mountains in central Pennsylvania developed Courtney's appreciation for the outdoors. Courtney graduated with a degree in Recreation & Park Management at Penn State University. Instead of following most college graduate's path, Courtney hit the road and moved up to Alaska where she worked as a sea kayaking guide and explored the wilderness to her heart's content. She decided that living and working in the outdoors was her passion so she moved to the Florida Everglades where she got up-close and personal with american alligators, red mangroves, & wood storks while working as a kayaking river guide and naturalist. She eventually worked her way out to the Outdoor Science school where she can teach, hike, explore, and be in the outdoors all day long! This is her third year At LACOSS, and she is so excited to be back! Mail a letter to Courtney |
