NIGHT HIKE

During the Night Hike, we silently and slowly walk through the night without flashlights, learning to use our own built-in night vision. We quietly listen for owls or other nocturnal creatures. We do experiments with our night vision and hearing. On clear nights, we study the stars and learn about astronomy .

Night hikes are truly magical, one-of-a-kind learning experiences. They are usually one of the most memorable and favorite parts of the week for students.
