Outdoor Science School Cabin Leaders come in all shapes and sizes!
Some are in high school or college...
Some are parents...
Students, parents, teachers, friends... Anyone can be a Cabin Leader.
As long as you are responsible and love to be around children, you can be a Cabin Leader, too!
As a Cabin Leader, you are the heart and soul of the Outdoor Science School. Without you, our program could not function in its current form and you are greatly appreciated!
Over the course of the weeklong program, you will be supervising approximately 10 students in the cabins, as well as assisting the program on trail, during meals, and in the evening programs. Our staff's Cabin Leader Coordinator (CLC) will train you and guide you all along the way, to make sure you have a wonderful experience as a Cabin Leader. It is a job of huge responsibility, and it is also a job of huge fun! You will be hiking, singing, and dancing with students in the beautiful mountains. You will learn a lot about leadership, working with children, as well as natural science. You will make a huge impact in the lives of the students, and even the Outdoor Science School staff.
